Dr. Brian Borg is a Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology (Liver) Specialist in Jackson, Mississippi. He graduated with honors from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 1992 before completing his residency at Prince George’s Hospital Center. He completed a fellowship in Liver Diseases at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, MD and a master’s degree in Clinical Research at Duke University. Later, he completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Liver Transplantation at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Borg was a transplant hepatologist at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, LA and assistant professor of medicine at Queensland University in Brisbane, Australia before assuming a leadership role as Medical Director of Liver Transplantation and Professor of Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, in Jackson MS. Having more than 28 years of experience, Dr. Borg manages a variety of liver and GI conditions.
Dr. Borg affiliates with St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital. In addition to English, Dr. Borg's practice supports these languages: Spanish, French, Russian, and Farsi.
